Archie Rose have signed up two of the east coast’s best-known whisky brand ambassadors with the news that Daniel Hutchins-Read and Paul Slater will look after New South Wales/ACT and Victoria/Tasmania respectively.

The Sydney distillery has undergone an ambassador re-shuffle after releasing their first whisky in August 2019. The announcement of Hutchins -Read (formerly Beery Brothers & Rudd and Barranow’s Emporium) and Paul Slater (Starward and Southrade) gives the distillery two established identities into ambassador roles with large extensive networks into the on-and-off premise markets. Nick Baxter was announced as the National Brand Ambassador last year.

They will work across Archie Rose’s emerging whisky offering, as well as the rest of their spirits portfolio which includes gin, vodka and rum in small amounts.

Hutchins-Read has previously featured in Whisky Ardent‘s Proust Questionnaire profile.
