Port Melbourne’s Starward distillery will close their doors for a number of months from Sunday 2 February to implement production upgrades.
In a statement the distillery said, “We want our distillery to resemble our whisky – nothing but a rich and vibrant experience.
“Therefore the new floor layout will allow for a more immersive experience, with elevated viewing platforms better offering a birds-eye view of the distillery.
“Better yet, there will be more Starward to go around, with the capacity to double production once the upgrade is complete.”
While the works are being carried out the bar will relocate to a pop-up at St. Ali, 20 Yarra Place in South Melbourne from 8 February.
